“Soon” used to drive me crazy!

My SO now thinks it’s hilarious to tell me that he’ll be proposing on July 31st (exactly a month after our timeline is up) and likes to “double check” that my ring size is a half size bigger then he knows it is. Undecided

“Slow down”.

“You’re moving too fast.”

“Chill out and just date for a while.”

These sentences were all said by my cousin. When I first started talking to her about the fact that Boyfriend or Best Friend and I had decided we wanted to get married someday, those sentences were her reaction.

And ever since then, when I talked about mine and BF’s relationship and our goals, she would throw out those words again. It got to the point where I decided not to talk to her about my relationship with Boyfriend or Best Friend anymore. It’s not any of her business.

So yeah, I get tired of hearing those words lol. Okay, mini-rant is now over!

I hate the word “tacky”. I think it’s rude, demeaning, and it really hurts some girls! When I see it used on the boards I just cringe.

@beeeforeigocrazy:  Yessss “boyfriend” and it makes me cringe to call myself a “girlfriend” -_-

@beeeforeigocrazy:  With you on “waiting.”

I also hate:

“Where’s the ring???” <- I’m not engaged, but everytime I tell someone about something nice that my SO did that has nothing to do with proposing, I get asked that. It’s so annoying as I don’t have much control over that!

@beeeforeigocrazy:  +1.  How soon is “soon”????? In guy-world it could be a hundred years from now.  I officially hate that word….

Omg on the soon thing! My bf said “really soon” in JANUARY. I’m like hello, it’s May already, do you need a calendar? haha. I call that “guy time.”
