I just do wedding planning at work. :) Just kidding...
But I am lucky. I work at a law school and our workload is really low over the summer. When I get back from my honeymoon, work will be in full swing! Which I hope will help with the post-pardum wedding feelings brides often have!
It's hard. I had an especially hard time with all the traveling that I had to do. As with most things, I think it's about doing a little something each day even if it's small. One e-mail or phone call is still something. Also make sure to take some time for yourself whether it's hanging out with Mr. Mascara or doing something relaxing.
Ya, its hard. I really had to be organized when planning my wedding.
Cuz, I was in OVERTIME mode at work and found myself working crazy hours.
Also, ask your family and bridal party to help out...
It can reduce some stress
it is hard. looking back, i'm not sure how i did it all! i even switched jobs about a month before getting married. ![]()
I have a feeling I'm going to look back after the wedding and ask myself how I ever managed to do so much with the wedding while working full time!
Don't worry. I feel the same way too. I have a checklist of "Thinks to Do" and spend a lot of my lunch hours going through the list to figure out what I can do by telephone or by computer. I am a bit scared because I'm not ready and only have 2 weeks before the wedding...eeek. But I'm sure that everything will come together before that special day.
For me, I would give myself a task a week to do. I would call all the photographers I could in my area one week, then focus on the one or two that were in my price range. We would meet and I would continue the following week with another task.
I think that given more money, things would not be as stressful as they are. But you should definitely do your best to try to get your bridal party involved in the process to help ease some anxiety and stress. Good luck on all the planning. I'm sure you'll be fine.

How do you balance the two? For the past 6 months I feel like I have two full time jobs! Now it is crunch time and I am having to travel for work every week! I try to keep a very detailed checklist to make sure everything gets done, but I still feel like I'm falling behind due to work trips and deadlines. It's stressful!
