Im trying to drop weight for the Wedding, as we all are Im sure.
Sometimes I get so lazy to get in the treadmill and I have ZERO motivation.
I know that getting married should be motivation enough, but I dont know maybe its this crappy winter were having, but I get so darn lazy!!
Do any of you have something that motivates you?

Once I get on the treadmill I am fine, unless I don’t have music. I find that playlists of my iPod make it MUCH easier to keep going.

Honestly my motivation is the Victoria’s Secret catalog!! For our honeymoon we are going to be on the beach for most of it and I’m planning on purchasing some bikinis and cute sundresses from VS so whenever I don’t feel motivated I look at the catalog and remember how amazing I want to look!

Its hard for me to get motivated as well…the two main things I try to do are:
(1) something I at least semi-enjoy. If you hate the dreadmill, try a different machine, class, or video. Outdoor running and Jillian Michaels videos are really all I can handle!
(2) put my workouts on my calendar with the rest of my schedule. Last night I had “shred” on my calendar for 5:30PM & I went home and did it. After a couple weeks it will just feel (a little more) natural.
I also am a fan of small attainable goals. I make it a goal to work out at least 3 times a week. I would never be able to stick to every single day…but I can find time for at least 3 out of 7 days.

I normally don’t wear my ring while I exercise (because I am sweaty and gross) but I knew I was low on motivation this morning so I wore it. That was enough motivation to get to my desired calorie burn for the morning. I also find it a lot easier to exercise when I have some good music or there is something good on tv at the gym.

@Ugoob: Running in front of the TV is great!! It makes it go by so much faster. I used to run through “Two and a Half Men” every night and the time flew by.

my motivation is to wear a bikini for the first time ever this year!! right now i think people would run screaming in the opposite direction, so i want to look/feel good, because right now i feel like a fat blob:(
