Weddingbee boards

So FH and i where out for a hike yesterday, it was so beautiul day, with our doggies. We had just started our walk when Leeo, my mini-dachshund, went to great another dog. The owners face looked familiar but couldnt place from where, well FH pointed it out and we realized she was the coordinator from the church from where we are getting married. We had only ever met once before on NYE. She and i had been talking about the rehersal and confirming timing and all that the last few days, well the best of it in the communication I had sent her emails from my work email account (cause i was too lazy to pull up my hotmail), our donation to the church was to be $1,000. Well yesterday, she told us because i work for a non-profit, that has helped out in the past, the company i work for was considered "friends and family" and our donation should only be $500. We were soooooo excited!!!

Did any of you guys have any pleasent surprises with pricing, because of where you work or are a member of?
