@graybrodski:  I don’t have any advice re: chemicals and such, but I’ll say, I did work in a green house at the beginning of my pregnancy for a short (and I mean short amount of time).  I had worked in one prepregnancy and was fine and, during this time I was very, very active, hiking and running and being a-okay physically outdoors and such.  But the greenhouse killed me.  I had never felt so miserable in all of my life. D: I quit after like four days.  And summer hadn’t even begun, so I knew it would just get worse.  Which was really disappointing because I really did love that job.

@graybrodski:  Absolutely! And yeah, if it had been end of the season and not Easter weekend when I had started, it would have been a completely different story.  But yeah, if I had felt fine, I would have stuck it out – I love that work 🙂 I hope it works out for you – kudos to you, btw, for working pregnant and raising two young ones.  Much respect! 😀

i think you definitely need to ask the doctor. its great that there are no pesticides as that’s a risk, but the info out there on fertilizers is unclear to a layman (ie me). may also depend exactly what type of fertilizer is being used

i think you should make an appointment sooner rather than later to be in on the safe side
