Ha! I remember when I first went back to work and Warren would just sit in my lap and watch me. NOW he wants everything I have. It could be a cell phone, hot mug of tea, camera - anything I am holding he's reaching for. When he's sitting on my lap he's trying to get at the computer. I try to fill his hands with toys but it usually doesn't work. Granted at almost 6 months he's not too strong - but soon he'll be able to actually hit the keys and cause problems!
Solution : get them their own computer
haha just kidding. my niece, Savannah stealing my computer. sorry have no solutions. they take over!
this made me laugh... my kid's laptop privilages have been revoked since he ripped off the o key a few days ago. Luckily my husband was able to fix it.
yah, we have no prayer, so I have no advice...DH & I are both in tech, so we each have laptops (sometimes 2 for him) plus our personal desktop...CoWBoy is super fascinated, but sometimes it makes me feel bad. The other day, we let him watch a video on the computer of him laughing, and it was hilarious to watch, though. We have to keep him away or have the lid shut...the glow in the room really distracts him from nursing, etc., and he's only 5 months...but that has been going on awhile.
Nope - no computer time around baby time. :) Especially iphone or laptop browsing! I guess it started around 6/7 months, same time that everything that we find interest in became the greatest thing ever!
Computers are now post-7pm machines...
Let her post on WB? i have no idea what to do; Addie's currently working on her first novel.

@Mrs. Spring: Oh my goodness! I guess I haven't seen an Addie picture in a while! Soooo adorable! And I love that our girls both have very little hair.
Post a thon was such a challenge last night with Cecilia lunging at the keyboard. I'm surprised that she didn't accidentally post something!
I can only imagine how hard it's going to get with our boy, but when my nephews are over it's always a fight with both of them because they wander over to our desktop because they are fascinated with the computer. The oldest one climbs up on our desk chair and somehow even sent an e-mail one day without our knowledge! lol

Who else has an incredibly hard time working on the computer with a baby now? At about 7 months Cecilia became obsessed with my computer and now I can't even be on it unless she's on the in the swing or with Papa. Has this happened for others and at what age? And how in the world do you get your Weddingbee fix with such challenges?!
