Does anyone else do this? Do you take a shower after both workouts? I am concerned with my skin and hair getting dried out, but I hate feeling stinky and sweaty all day lol
Does anyone have a good solution to this or am I outta luck.

Or even if you workout during your lunch time, do you shower and everything after that?

Ok, Im fat so I am probably not the best person to answer this lol, but I was working out during my lunch for a few months and then sometimes returning after work to work out again. I usually would tie my hair up after the first work out. Another thing you may want to consider doing is using baby shampoo because it is gentle. Good luck.

@tranquility: Haha you made me crack up with that comment. Thanks for the tip, I never would have thought to use baby shampoo!! Thats a great idea

When I work out 2x a day, I shower 2x but I don’t always wash my hair after workout number 2.

I do occasionally do two workouts in one day, and I do always take a shower after I work out. If you use a moisturizing body wash and put lotion on after you take a shower, your skin shouldn’t get too dried out. As far as washing your face, definitely use something that has gentle cleansing and use moisturizer! Depending on how sweaty you get, sometimes you can get away with either not washing your hair twice in one day (use a shower cap or something) or use dry shampoo. You just spray it in and then brush it out. You can find some at ulta.com and sephora, but those are kind of pricey for what they are. Tresemme makes a dry shampoo spray now, I think it’s about $3 at target/walmart/cvs/walgreens type stores. I also read that suave is coming out with a dry shampoo sometime soon, so I’m sure that one will be pretty cheap as well.
Good luck, I hope this helps!

Please don’t use baby shampoo. Babies don’t use hair dryers, styling products, etc. It was not made for that type of abuse. I usually just co-wash (wash with conditioner only) when I take a second shower.

Only use conditioner on your hair. I only occasionally use shampoo, but I have dry hair.

Second the co-wash comments. I have dry curly hair, and only use shampoo every 3 days. Rinsing your hair and just using conditioner will keep it moisturized and also keep you clean and smelling fresh!

I did while training for a triathlon. I’d wash my hair in the morning to get the chlorine out and depending on how hot it was that night I’d wash it again after the bike or run or just conditioner if I didn’t feel to sweaty.

I’ve been known to workout 2x a day and usually the 2nd time is at lunch. I don’t usually go balls out at lunch so for now, I haven’t needed to shower the second time. However, when I do, I will only condition my hair and not shampoo it.

I work out twice a day. Once in the early morning and once right after work. After work is normally just weights for me so if I’m not doing anything that night I just stay gross and don’t shower. I always shower in the morning though because that one is having my more sweat inducing, cardio filled work out. Some days I do shower twice, if I have plans that night but I am generally in such a hurry by that point that I pull my hair back while it is still wet so I’m not double drying and straightening. I think if I did a lunch time workout I would shower twice to at least rince off.

I have dry hair and I hardly shampoo it so I can’t answer you on that one. I have to shower after working out cause I am hella stinky. But I only workout in the morning and at night so I don’t have a midday crisis. I cannot workout during work hours for that very reason.

Wow…maybe I’m just really stinky because I’ll shower in the morning, work out during lunch, and then run or something after work. And I usually don’t shower after my run because I don’t want to wash my hair again. Is that gross?
