Morning ladies!  Ack, I'm sorry I have been missing so much lately!  I am getting my CAC card today so hopefully I can get to the gym this week!  I hope you did better than I have!

Good morning!! I posted my numbers a few days a go, but I just started a "10 in 6 weeks" challenge with my FSIL and we decided to have our weigh-ins on Sundays. So,

    Goal (short-term): 166 lbs

    Goal (long-term): 158 lbs.

    Last week: 176.8 lbs

    This week: 176.0 lbs

    Loss: -0.8

I lost 0.8 lbs already! I am very excited. I have been walking the dog a lot, and watching what I have been eating. It's been hard to get to the gym bc FI is out of town and I have to take care of the puppy. We bought a spin bike but it is now broken, the repair guy is coming Wednesday, so that will definitely help with my workouts!!

    Hi ya'll!

    Starting Weight (1.09) = 262.2
    Engagement Pics (8.09) = 215
    Wedding Day (11.7.09) = 220.6
    Last week (6.7.10) = 217.2
    Today (6.14.10) = 216

    Lost = -1.2
    Total Lost = 46.2 pounds

I start week 5 of C25k this week. I'm nervous because I know I have to run for 20 minutes by the end of the week. SCARY! By the end of the week, week 4 seemed pretty easy (minus the hill that I accidently went up...meant to go up the next street, but I wasn't paying that close of attention - BLAH). I'm not to the point where runnning 20 minutes would be 2 miles. I think it will be a long time before that happens...if it ever does. I'm pretty slow, but I haven't stopped yet.

In other news, I have been working out almost every day either C25K or something on ExerciseTV on demand.

    Start: 157.7

    Last Week: 146

    Today: 144.3

    Loss/Total Loss: 1.7 /13.4

I'm very happy with the 1.7 lb loss for the week!  I'm still not keeping up with my workouts though.  I only did one day of strength training this week.  I wanted to run twice, but I was SO sore after Friday's workout.  I'm finally feeling back to normal so hopefully I can get my workouts in this week.  I am following my diet plan very closely though.  I'm basically doing South Beach, and it's been great for me so far.  Oh, and yesterday I put on a pair of shorts that were tight about a month ago, so I'm making progress!

I had set a goal for myself to be 140 by the time my externship ends for the summer, which is 4 weeks from today.  I think I'll be able to do it!

@Ottawa: Great job with the loss.  So does the 10 in 6 weeks mean 10 pounds?  That it so doable!

@completelyrandomsally: Wow you are doing great!

@Boston Bee: Wow you are doing great!

I got my CAC card today so I should be able to start working out later this week.  The only thing that sucks is that my class goes so late on Tuesday and Thursday that it makes me so exhausted!  I'm going to go to the gym on Wednesday I think, probably just do something easy for now.  I really want to get a trainer again but I'm not sure how much it would be.

    Hey ladies!

Could I get in on this?

    Start weight: 170lbs

    Current: 152lbs

    Goal Weight: 140

I had been losing very consistentaly but have just recovered from surgery. I haven't worked out in almost a month and a half and was kind of lax with my diet post surgery.

I'm starting to work out again this week and am back to tracking my calories.

Welcome punky_brewster!  It's great to have new people, a lot of people haven't been on here as much lately and it's sort of lonely.  Good luck getting back on track and not pushing yourself with the recovery!

Hi Ladies! Sorry I've been MIA for awhile, but I think I have a good reason!

I've decided to no longer track my calories, weight myself, or measure my inches lost! I was becoming to focused on all the numbers instead of how I was feeling. I'm just going to listen to my body and decide what/how much to eat by how I'm feeling. I also took body pictures of me in spandex/a sports bra and will take new pictures every 3-4 weeks to measure my progress :)

Today was my first official day of P90X/half marathon training! I'm doing the P90X lean workout because I don't want to get too bulky and I'm using it as a supplement to my running. But I will say the workout was crazy hard and I only made it 3/4 of the way through most of the exercises before I had to stop!

Tomorrow I have a 3 mile run and will be using my new Nike+ running program to track my progress :D

I did 90 minutes of ExerciseTV on demand last night. After each workout, I thought I could do another so I did. It felt really good. Unfortunately, I started a little later than planned so I had trouble sleeping. I guess you can't win them all! Laughing

I started W5of C25K last night. I'm nervous about the end of the week when I have to run 20 minutes straight.

    Hey Girls,

I'm new around here, but after lurking and seeing so many other women trying C25K, I downloaded it at work yesterday and started it last night. Please tell me I'm not the only one dying after 60 seconds of jogging and cursing at that little voice saying I have to run again. I'm definately out of shape. :0 But almost atthe 8 week mark until my wedding, so I have to try and lose a little bit!

@coffeeandtea - Don't worry! It will get easier. It was so hard for me as well. Now, I can run 5 minutes without a problem. Tomorrow - 8 minutes!

@coffeeandtea: I'm a C25K graduate as of last Sunday and believe me, I was huffing and puffing on my 60 second runs! Now I can run 3 miles in about 26-28 minutes and I feel great after. The only bad thing is I got sick on the last week of the program so it has thrown my running off. Now I'm training for a half marathon :D

    good luck!

Sorry ladies... I forgot to check in last week!!!

    start: 233.2

    this week: 229.6

I have been having a hard time getting to the gym lately.. work has been INSANE, and with FBIL's wedding in 3 weeks, we have been realy busy!  FI gave me a new motivatoin to get to the gym though heheh cause he knows how much it's bugging me... for every 1 hour working out between now and wedding, I get $5 to spend on new clothes for honeymoon... which works out to $500 by the wedding if I keep up my regular workout schedule before I fell off the wagon... it's a great motivator for me hahahh!!!

@cecullaton - Congrats on the loss!

DH gave me a motivating goal! I get a brand new outfit when I get under 200 (from wherever). I was at 215 this morning. I see it in the horizon. I'm hoping this can be a new vacation outfit for the end of July.

@completelyrandomsally - wow that's fantastic you can wrong for 5 straight! you go girl! I'm running on my own and it's funny how your body naturally seems to know how long 60seconds is. Just as I would be getting to that point where there was no way I could run any longer the person on my phone would say 'beep beep beep start walking' and I think at one point I let out a 'thank gooooood.' It's tough! Awesome on your DH giving you a goal. I think I need to try this too :)

@babyboo - that's awesome! Any tips or tricks on keeping good form while running and do you tend to stretch after the warm up? I'm never sure when to stretch, but my bones are feeling it today so I'm going to have to

@babyboo: Welcome back!  I understand wanting to focus on how you feel when working out!  That's the most important thing after all.

@completelyrandomsally: Great job with the workouts!

@blondeebuckeye: I think I need new running shoes too.  Mine squish my feet too much!

@coffeeandtea: Welcome!  I hope that you do well with the C25k!

    @mareem: Wow great weight loss!

@cecullation: I have had a hard time working out too so don't feel too bad.  I hope the clothing motivation helps you!

Blah, I didn't get to the gym tonight!  Last night I didn't get to sleep until late because of school and then I woke up in the middle of the night because my husband had to leave on a trip early in the morning.  Even if I can't make it right now, I will be so much better off after my class is done next week!  School and work together is stressful!

I have to work late tonight so I came in a bit late to work this morning so I could get my workout in. I did W5W2 for C25K. I ran for E.I.G.H.T. MINUTES...twice! It felt good. I'm excited for the 20 minute run on Saturday. Laughing

@MissAsB - I can't imagine going to school right now. Good for you!

    Oh my goodness...

Came back from a wonderful vacation... but I gained 3 ENTIRE POUNDS! I guess I have a new starting weight! Hopefully some will melt by Monday with the help of Atkins and Team Beach Body:

New starting weight: 152 lbs (all time high)

    Goal: 135-129 lbs

Left to go: 17-22 lbs (oh my goodness...)

Time frame: 90 days from today (just be because)

@MissAsB  Thanks! My legs disagree, I am so so so sore the last few days.

@cecullaton Our stag and doe is on Friday! I'm also trying to behave. Too many pastries and an open bar, geeesh. It'll be tough, that's for sure!

Do any of you girls recommend a particular kind of scale? Digital vs. Analalog, etc?

@coffeeandtea- I love my tanita body fat measuring scale, it isn't perfect at measuring body fat percentage, but it does give you a range and an idea of whether it is increasing or decreasing. Here are a bunch from amazon at different price points:

    http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_0_12?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=tanita+scale&sprefix=tanita+scale

@completelyrandomsally: Wow running 8 minutes!  That's great!  And thank you!

@cecullation: I hope the bootcamp went well!

@sweetpea: Welcome!  I hope you had a great time on the vacation!

@coffeeandtea: I just have a cheap scale with the arrow.  Might not be as exact as a digital one but I like it just fine!
