Let's inspire each other and share what workout we managed to squeeze into our hectic day today!

After doing shorter workouts all week, I decided to do Jillian Michael's No More Trouble Zones DVD. It's about 45 minutes in all. I don't know if I'll be able to walk tomorrow...It's so hard!

As I can't get enough I will be playing 3 1/2 hours of volleyball. It is a sickness really. ;)

    @UrbanDreamBride:  Nice job!

I jogged for 30 minutes and did squats and worked on my chest (nautilus machines). I've lost 54 pounds over the last year and a half and would like to lose 12 more pounds before my wedding.  One day at a time!

    This video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8aB_eQM-eg&feature=related

I did the entire video probably twice tonight - I'll feel it tomorrow. I'm down to 10 more lbs to go!

@Treejewel19:  Awesome! 3 1/2 hour is a long time but I am sure it will fly by. :)

@VegasSukie:  Congrats on the weight loss! That's amazing. Your resolve is to be admired.

    Keep it up ladies!

Did 4 circuits of squats, pull ups, pull throughs, rows, and planks. 2 min. break in between each, and had to beat my time each circuit! I was dead by the end, but I managed to beat my time each time, so I was happy...

I got a massage because I did an hour of kickboxing on the bag and abs one day then the next day I did weights, circuit training, and HIIT (damn you lunges) for an hour and then ran for 20 minutes.  My hamstrings are not in good enough shape anymore to be able to function after that so I figured I'd splurge.  That or sit on the couch in pain.

Benefit of working out.  You don't feel guilty getting a massage.  It's part of your training.  Can't work out if you can't move! :)

I've been mixing NMTZ with Shred & Ripped. I figure I should go on to Level 2 of the shred...You've inspired me!

I taught a group fitness class called Bodyflow (a mix of yoga, tai chi, and pilates choreographed to music) and then did 5 circuits of split squats, dumbbell curls, push-ups, hip extensions, bridge lifts, and overhead press.  The first two and the last one were with 2 15lb dumbbells).  In between sets 3 and 4, I did sprints on a spin bike.

forward and side lunges, lots of squats (no weight, at home), crunches, supine bridges, bicep and tricep curls with resistance band, and stretching.  This is my basic, at home, I-don't-feel-like-going-to-the-gym workout for lazy days :-)  I try to do the first part of it quickly to get my heart rate going.

@FutureMsVW:  popcorn isnt bad!  its whole grain and low cal!  just go easy on the butter.... skip it entirely if possible and use a seasoning blend like one from lake o lakes (I use ranch or cheddar)

@UrbanDreamBride:  Let me know how you find level 2 when you get around to trying it! I am on day 6 and am dreading moving on to level 3! Feeling good though. I also managed to wait long enough that my cravings subsided. Phew! Thanks  for keeping me in check :)

I didn't get to work out, but I watched my intake on calories better today then yesterday. I ate healthier since I knew I wouldn't have much time today for working out.

Oh, and I'm going to start running, I'm going out tomorrow to buy a pair of running shoes. My magazine I ordered to running came in today. Where I live running is the easiest way to workout. Especially, when you have about 50 acres of land. :)

Yesterday I did Week 6 day  1 of couch to 5k, so I ran 2 miles and walked a mile...then I did 10 minutes on the ARC trainer, so 45 minutes total. I think I'm going to to go yoga tonight, since I'm still sore from Wednesday's kettlebell workout.

Ladies! I am super impressed and inspired by your workouts.

Today I had to get up in the morning before work to squeeze something in. Level 1 of the 30 day shred again. I promise to try level 2 on Sunday! I couldn't face it bleary eyed at 6 am.

For 2 weeks I've been doing a cardiobarre workout.  Week 1 I did the intro which is only 20 minutes and kicked my rear.  I bumped up to beginner and think I'll be there a while.  Man I am out of shape.

The video is kinda cheesy.  I assume others are too

@UrbanDreamBride:  its a system that combines ballet elements with typical workout stuff.  for more than weight loss but a whole lot of toning and flexibilty too.  plus a whole lot of sweat since they get your heart rate up almost immediately.
