I have admittedly horrible tast in music, so most people won't like my suggestions! LOL
It's very Brittney Spears heavy. I prefer pop and R&B to work out to. It gets me pumped up.
My favorites are:
She is Beautiful by Andrew W.K.
Travis Barker's remix of Crank That (Soulja Boy)
Move Bitch by Ludacris
Swing by Savage and Soulja Boy
You Shook Me All Night Long by AC/DC
Givin' Up by The Darkness
Everytime We Touch by Cascada
I JUST made one. I kid you not. I finally broke down and bought an ipod, haha. here's what's on my work out list:
irresistible
gimme more
let the bass kick in miami girl
carry out
right round
evacuate the dancfloor
she wolf
imma be
blah blah blah
let it rock
stronger
don't tell me that it's over
ryour love is my drug
omg
tik tok
day and night
sexy bitch
I know it's a lot of "popular" type of music, but i never listen to the radio and as long as it has a good beat and can keep me running, it works for me. I really only like pop and hip hop when I work out. But i snagged these off the top 40's list and the itunes recommendations under Cardio Workouts.
Just download Girl Talk albums. You won't need a playlist. He does mash-ups of pop songs and it's all perfect for work outs.
I never listen to the radio unless its a country station, and that just doesn't do it for me when I'm trying to stay motivated! Thanks for the songs!
I prefer hip hop and RnB as a rule. The other day Lil Kim's 'The Jumpoff' came on during my spin calss and I essentially had an outer body experience. It is now my favourite song to work out to.
Here are my favorites to run to. (Training for a 1/2 marathon) Not sure if you have the same taste in music but I find these keep me going
- Zoosk Girl - Flo Rida
- Breakin' Dishes - Rhianna
- Loverboy - Mariah Carey (The remix one)
- Sexy Bitch - David Guetta
- Break Your Heart - Taio Cruz
- Whose Going Home With You Tonight - Trapt
- I'm in the House - Steve Aoki
I agree Girl Talk is great for workouts. I have also gotten into the new Gorillaz album, Yeah yeah yeahs, and Prodigy does the trick too.
I do Prodigy a little too.
-Chromeo (super catchy electro-synthy with hilarious lyrics)
-Fat Boy Slim
-Daft Punk-the faster stuff
-Legally Blonde soundtrack (not my proudest moment)
-LL Cool J (he raps about loving thick girls so even though I want to lose weight I still feel good)-Specifically the "Baby" rock remix
-Silly disco era stuff, Earth Wind and Fire ect.
Excited to look into Girl Talk!

I am adding some new playlists to my Itunes and Ipod, and was wondering what your favorite tune is to workout to?
