I've been to a show there, its a nice space. Not sure how its transformed for a wedding tho.
I actually found a few weddings photo on the internet of weddings here...it looks pretty awesome,
Im in between beat street and world cafe has anyone gotten a quote from either place?
I'm looking at the same venues. However, I'm looking to have a smaller event of approx 100 people. Beat Street Station is 133.25pp (before taxes and gratuity). Once you've add that in it comes to 167.90pp. This is from a sample package. I'm sure it can be adjusted for a lowered cost. I've read that they are very accommodating. The event minimum is 50 ppl.
World Cafe live has packages ranging from 100 - 140pp. Those prices include taxes and all. They also have a rental fee. Upstairs is $1500. Downstairs is $2500. Can have your ceremony there for an extra $500. They have event minimums. 50 ppl for Upstairs and 125 for Downstairs.
I hope this helps out a little. I plan to visit both. I was really excited about World Cafe Live, BUT I don't meet the even minimum for Downstairs. I havent seen many pictures of the Upstairs, but from what I have seen I like Downstairs way better.
I live in CA right now, so if anyone has visited either venue and has anything to say I'd love to hear it.
I just checked out the link from misslyn86 . Thanks! I'd been wanting to see pictures of a wedding in Upstairs Live.
