Saw that posted on a friend's FB page and thought I'd share... I'd cry if my photo ended up there.
@lamourbleu: oh dear those are awful, each to their own and all but not good
OMG I really have no words for some of them. I think I did a triple take at the one with the cake that looked like the bride. What the heck was up with that cake.. LOL
Umm nothing like your Comic Book Hero wedding photos complete with Super Man and Robin's crotch looking right at you. Seriously?!?
Good God.... the one where they were hanging from hooks in their backs?!??! Gross!!
I don't think its fair to call someones wedding distrubing when you simply don't get why they had it like that.
Yes there were some with a disturbingly bad photogrpahy such as the poor bride made to look like half horse.
But I remember at least one of those weddings being celebrated on Off Beat Bride. Some people put things into their ceremony that are significant to them, I don't think that makes it disturbing.
The tractor one is AWESOME, if my wedding were going to be anywhere near a farm I would put that on my must-have photos list. Seriously!
lol. I actually think the hospital mask one could be kind of cute if the couple are medical people..
OOMGGG WHY are there people hanging from their skin. !!!!!
At first I thought this thread might be in poor taste (mocking others), but I mean, people have their reason for having these kinds of weddings - they want to draw attention to themselves!!
K... the flesh hooks one is just creepy no matter, some of them were just poorly exsecuted photos, and some of them I bet make WAY more sense knowing the couple.
I saw in a magazine that you can actually have your ceremony and reception at McDonalds in Asia I believe. As in a legit wedding complete with hamburgers and french fries for your guests.
the star wars one looked fun - the one with the needles and whatever they are doing to their bodies would freak me out
considering our wedding photos are all underwater while scuba diving with a just married sign, one day im expecting to see my pic on one of these threads
@BayStateBride: I read that too!!!
I agree that most of those pictures are not of themes to my taste, but to each his own :)
Some of these are incredibly awkward photographs, but count me in as unwilling to call a wedding "disturbing" just because it has Stormtroopers. To each their own!
I think many of these are pretty cute. Let your freak flag fly! But FI and I took engagement photos at a construction site so I'm a little 'disturbing.'
In other countries McDonald's is considered a fancy meal. We took FI's nieces to MCD in Peru they were 6, and 10 and had never been before. I also have that article in my bridal binder. I showed my mom like I was seriously considering it.
I remember AGES ago watching a Doco following a yung girl from a poor family. I'm trying to remember what are it was....I am thinking South America. But not entirely sure.
Anyway, the Doco said that to take a family to MacDonalds there would take a months wages.
@Captain013: We took engagement photos at a construction site too lol
Definitly not fair to call them disturbing. I bet they say, "You had to be there" when showing off their wedding photos a lot...lol. Hey..may not be my taste but at least they were original. That first star wars wedding looks more put together than my weding will nb..even the guets are in costume!
I don't think some of these are disturbing except for the naked one; I'll never get that. The one with the hospital masks I believe was from the time when SARS was an issue in some countries bc I've seen that around then.
I disagree with all PPs. To each their own taste. The only one I find disturbing is the groom squeezing some other woman's butt.
I actually think a couple of them are kind of cute.. like the one with the couple in the water with the dolphin. that made me smile :)
PLEASE...I beg of you...DO NOT SHOW MY FI THE NUDIST WEDDING...he'll have to have it and all the $$$ I've spent on clothes will go out the window.
LOL, love these! have you seen www.weddingsunveils.com
I actually liked a few of those....although the bride-on-the-table one with the groom....uh, behind her was a tad awkward!
