Here’s the top of my dress:
I haven’t had any alterations yet; it was a steal of a consigment store find 🙂
However, the dress pulls just underneath the bust and I’m afraid a seamstress won’t be able to adjust or fix this. Does anyone have any thoughts/ideas/suggestions or a similiar experience? This is w/o a spanx or a slimming longline bra on, so perhaps that would help?

Very nice find 🙂
A good seamstress should be able to fix the pull. It may cost a bit because of the beading, but it can be done.

Beautiful! I definitely think that a seamstress can fix it. I’m not a seamstress at all (I can barely sew on aq button), but I think that they should be able to let out a seam or something to fix it.

Thanks ladies 🙂 I hope you are both right and a seamstress can fix the pulling; I aim to have it to the seamstress in November once I have shoes and a slip.

Hi! That is such a pretty dress. I think you should wait a little while if you can, because your bod might change a little by next July. I was worried about my dress being too small, but by the time I did my 2nd fitting, they had to take it in because I had lost weight.
Not that you need to lose weight or anything! I am just saying that a lot can change between now and next July, so don’t worry too much about it, I did not even notice it in the pic!

Get a good seamstress who specializes (or has experience) in bead work. You really cannot notice the pull but once you wear your undergarments ( I call it battle gear) you will be smoothed out and even more gorgeous than you already are!
