I’m getting married on October 8, and I’m starting to freak out.
Not because of the actual wedding, but because of the way I look. (I feel dumb writing this.)
I’m not at the weight I want to be at, and I’m SO worried about the honeymoon. We’re going to Maui, and that obviously means wear a swimsuit.
Any advice? Anyone else not feel that hot on their wedding day and on their honeymoon?

I have 2 bellies… and a muffin top… but my Fiance knows this already… LOL

Don’t worry just have fun and enjoy yourself. Trust me, you will be glad you did. You will make a beautiful bride and your honemymoon will be a blast.

I TOTALLY feel you on that… I’ve gained a lot of weight and that includes lovely stretch marks all over my stomach and thighs. Personally, avoiding a beach Honeymoon.
But the thing is, let’s be honest, your Fiance knows what you look like and he LOVES you for or despite that. F*ck what random people might think.
If you feel really awkward, how about buying some cute sarongs or beach coverup dresses?

@loving_life: We must be twins! Just in the last year, I’ve gained 15-20 pounds (guess) and have stretch marks on my stomach and inner thighs. It’s driving me crazy! I’ve just been worried because I don’t think my fiance knows this. It’s easy for me to hide because we live in Alaska and during the summer you don’t wear the typical bikini and shorts. Ugh :/ However, your post did make me feel better!

@alaska_99705: You will look beautiful on your wedding day and on your honeymoon! I think there’s some bit of magic that comes in and makes all brides extra beautiful. You still have a few weeks to try and tone up a little if that will make you feel better, but try not to stress too much about it as the weeks leading up to one’s wedding are stressful enough. I’d suggest just doing a few things that make you feel good–go for walks, maybe do a few push-ups, a little yoga–whatever it is that makes you feel good and accept where you’re at. I like the idea of getting some cute cover-ups and sarongs. Also, there’s no rule that says you have to wear a skimpy bikini on your honeymoon. Maybe you could find some fun one-piece suits that highlight your best features? But no matter what, HAVE FUN! Your finance will just be so excited to have you as his new wife that he probably won’t even notice a few stretch marks.
