Haruyou:  I used to be a worrywart years ago. I finally stopped when I realized it was a complete waste of energy. Worrying accomplishes nothing.  If there is a decision to be made, do the research, list the pros and cons, make the decision, then accept it and move on.

Where are you going in BC?

Haruyou:  what exactly are you worrying about? Im confused.

If you are worried about having money for your honeymoon, start putting away a small amount each week.

Or set aside money to be saved and allocate to each plan (scho, vacation, honeymoon)

And listen to your mom. She is right.

Haruyou:  Barkerville is great fun. You will love it. If you are camping, check out the private campground too. The provincial ones aren’t anything great but there is a private one on Bowron lake, Bowron Lake Lodge, where you can camp right on the beach. They also rent canoes and bikes. It’s an easy drive to go in to Barkerville for the day.

Haruyou:  I have been to Barkerville several time. Love it! Remember to take time to go into Wells too- a small neighbouring town- very artsy.

Every single bride Iknow has been so tired from planning the wedding (we were renovating as well) that they just collapse from exhaustion at the hotel and hardly even go out that much. You may not end up spending that much money!!!

Haruyou:  If you have never been there, 2 days sounds about right.

Haruyou:  I’m not a big fan of putting up a tent in the dark. Why not stay the first two nights at the hotel, then camp on the third night? You could even drive down to Bowron Lake and camp right on the beach.
