So it may sound crazy but I just watched the notebook for the first time.. And I have to say I just do not get all the hype. I didn’t care for it at all.

We saw Gravity recently in the theaters, and I have to say that I thought it was lame (even in 3D). They make a plan, stuff breaks, they float in space… Repeat. Not a fan!!!

Life of Pi was pretty awful, well done, but I didn’t like it. I didn’t like the book when I read it so what did I expect lol. Carrie wasn’t good either. And I only watched a few minutes of Avatar before I turned it off. I just couldn’t watch it, it was nothing compared to Titanic, which was the best movie ever.

Oops, saw you put recently. Well I watched part of Identity Thief on the plane a few months ago, wasn’t as good as I was expecting.

@legenwaitforitdary:  agreed, The Notebook’s an overrated movie.

We recently watched Clue.  I’d heard it was a cult classic, so was intrigued.  i love campy movies, especially 80s ones, but this wasn’t even good camp.  Really fell flat.

The Counselor, with Penelope Cruz, Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender et al. Utter drivel. And confusing drivel at that. The only good thing about the movie was Fassbender who is SMOKING HOT!

Cars 2. Usually Pixar can’t put a foot wrong, even with sequels, but apart from a bit of “Mater” humour near the start, this was dreadful.

Phantom with David Duchovny and Ed Harris.  It was based on a true story about a Soviet submarine during the cold war.  All of the Russian characters (including Duchovny’s and Harris’s) had American accents.  It was ludicrous when they were talking about the Americans.  My husband picked this one at Red Box and even he hated it.

@Diamond84:  Hurt Locker. Seriously, I do not get the hype or why it won Oscars. One of the most boring movies I have ever seen. Another terrible movie I saw recently was Silent Hill 2. Such a shame as the first SH was SO good.
