This little story is making its way around Twitterverse (I came across it via Mrs. Sea Breeze) and the collective opinion seems to be that we hope is it's an early April Fool's joke because if it's not...this is really the worst proposal ever.

I don't know I think it's kinda funny/quirky! Definitely not a story you wanna tell the family and friends but you can always make something else up to tell them. I mean hey...it is how they met!
That story is messed up on more then one level. 1) Who would date someone that's looked at their girly girl parts. I would be wondering what they were thinking about during my exams. 2) Wouldn't you feel weird to then let your boyfriend continue to do your exams. I mean what's romantic any more? 3) The ring in the v-j area no thanks

This can't be real. Besides, everytime I've had a man doing my exam, he's had to have a woman nurse in the room, so that wouldn't be at all romantic even if the bride didn't care about his "pulling it out of there." Well, Happy April Fools.
Absolutely. That cannot be real. I'm in the medical field and know that a health care provider is not supposed to work on their immediate family or spouse. It's just wrong on so many levels and against the Hippocratic oath.
And also yes, every time I go to see my male gyno, his rn is in the room with us.
Even for anybody to make that up, they'd have to have one twisted mind imho. Geez. You couldn't even want to put that thing on your finger would you? I mean, it'd have to go into some sort of bleach and then an autoclave or something. I just know I think that's got to be the grossest thing I've ever read.
I think it's hilarious! It's definitely something unique and personal. If it's true they have quite the story.

Uhhh.....thats really weird. Its funny, but not exactly the story I want to tell my children/parents/grandparents/friends/acquaintences/anybody!

Hahaha! I just shared this with my co-worker and he was grossed out. He said, "that is wrong on so many levels" as he is chuckling!
