As a point of reference, I have US 2.5 size fingers (I know – super tiny!) which is why I don’t think a wider spacer would look right. Plus, as you can see my e-ring is tapered so there will be a slight gap.
I love rose gold! I’m still trying to find a skinny band for my RH stack – I just can’t decide if I want textured in some way or not – I say GO FOR IT!!!!!
If you wear it that way for a while and decide you don’t like it, you will have the rose gold band to wear as a stand in if you ever have to have something done to your set – or you can wear it on your RH in a stack! 🙂
I think it will look gorgeous especially if the spacer is plain – not only will you get mixed metals but I also think it will make each of your bands stand out too with their different shapes! Plus you can wear it as the mood takes you if some days you only want to wear white metals and other days you want a mix. 🙂
Bumping for more opinions
I say go for it! I’ve searching for rose gold bands myself and I can’t decide .. I want them all! 🙂 DO IT!
I think it would look really nice. The only concern I would have which other bees have mentioned in similar posts is the platinum rings rubbing against the rose gold. Since the platinum is harder it might wear away at the softer gold over time. I briefly fell in love with a platinum wedding band but was strongly cautioned against it since my e-ring is white gold. Since this is just a spacer though maybe it will be okay for long enough that if it did wear down you wouldn’t mind replacing it at that point.
@Ms_Purple: I was concerned that the rubbing would damage the platinum bands so if its just the spacer then I’m ok with that- it’s pretty cheap and replaceable.
I don’t think spacers are big in the UK yet. I mentioned my idea to one of the girls at work today and she looked at me like I had two heads!!
