A chapel veil would look fine because you would for sure still see the red through it.

I think the fingertip veil will be fine. How long is your train? I think if you have a long veil you should have it be slightly longer than the train of your dress- otherwise it will cut awkwardly across the train of dress. I think the red will definitely show through.
Thanks for your comments. The train will be about as long as the one in the picture so maybe I will go with a cathedral length instead of chapel. We'll have to see how they look with the dress.
I love the red! I agree with rosy that you should try out a cathedral length instead of a chapel length. No matter the length the red will show up through the veil so long as it's sheer fabric.
Thanks for your help. I think I will go with the cathedral and wear it during the ceremony and then switch back to the fingertip for the reception so my clumsy self doesn't have problems with the longer one.

I am purchasing the dress below and absolutely LOVE the red and the detail.
I like the idea of using two veils during pictures, a fingertip and a chapel length, but not sure which length to use for the ceremony. I love the longer veil, but want people to be able to see the back of my dress and the lovely detail. The veils below are not the ones I'm buying, but they are the lengths I want. What do you all think?
