I was thinking – in the spirit of more accoutability, support, and talking about goals – about doing weekly posts where we put our weekly weight loss/total weight loss counter? I see my daily weight loss (if any :P) on My Fitness Pal, but this way we can see our progress by week and in relation to our total goal.

Weight Lost This Week: 1.2 lb
Total Weight Loss: 7.1 lbs
Would anyone be interested? If so, we need a clever name STAT. 🙂

@Skittles131: I’d be interested in the support and accountability part, but I don’t weigh myself so I couldn’t play 🙁 I go by how I feel and how my clothes fit, not what the scale says.

I would! I just started on a weight loss lifestyle change last week (or the week before, can’t remember exactly) and so far I’ve lost 6 lbs! I cut out carbs, am trying to focus on eating mostly plants and protein, and just generally healthier and not as much. I’ve also been doing Jillian Michael’s Banish Fat video but with my mom getting remarried tomorrow and us moving across state lines in two weeks I have not been doing it as consistently as I will once we move and settle down.
ETA: I don’t weigh myself every week. I happened to have weighed myself at my mom’s, which is what kickstarted this for me. Then today I decided to weigh because I felt like I hadn’t been losing weight so I wanted to see if the scale had moved. I probably wouldn’t be able to contribute my loss every week, but once every few weeks I could.

Count me in! Can we also share nutrition/exercise tips too? Cuz I thought I had a plan to lose weight, but life happened, and now I’m overwhelmed with all the stuff Google spits out when I try to research healthy weight loss 🙁

New here but I’m in. I seem to do a little better if I’m being held accountable, and while fi is supportive(usually), he just doesn’t seem to jump up and down every time I lose a pound. I like having that group support, and seeing others succeed motivates me too!

I’m interested! SO wants me to lose weight, but then when I do, he doesn’t express any enthusiasm. I understand that it’s part of his personality, but it’s frustrating. So I clearly need to get my support from elsewhere.
