    I don't think this conveys the theme of your wedding at all. : (0 votes)

    @Avalein:  2014 and 4:00 should be spelled out, and I’m not too sure about the border with the flower, maybe if it was a little wider (by that, I mean closer to the edge, not thicker) and behind the flower, that would be nice. and I think the mint coloured text should maybe be a little darker. but I really like the wording that you’ve chosen. very cute, and i might borrow it.

    @Avalein:  I think ending the pink border at the flower would look better, I don’t like that it cuts through (and it is such a pretty flower!).

    If you don’t have room to spell out 2014, you can leave it off since the year is obvious, but definitely spell out the time.

    The mint colored maybe in bold, but in maybe 2-3 point smaller font.

    They are really lovely!  The wording is perfect, IMO.

    I think this is a really pretty invitation, and I can totally see Southern Plantation with some flair.  I love the colors!

    I agree with the PP that you should spell out the year and time, and I would move up “the Simpson House” so it’s more centered, rather than right on top of ‘Kansas City, Missouri’. It will look less cluttered that way too, because the tail of the ‘p’ won’t be dipping down into the text.  I agree that the mint color should be a bit darker, but only for the text in the corner.  I love the ampersand as is!

    As for the border, I like the concept, but I think I would like it better if it were closer to the edge of the invite and even all the way around.  What does it look like with the flower in front of the border?

    Overall, I think you’ve done a really great job!

    P.S. I forgot to mention how cute your script font is!  I love non-traditional script fonts, and even better if they are a little spiral-y!  🙂

    Hi there! I completely agree with PPs, I really, really love your choice of language here! I also agree that it could be laid out a little bit better. I don’t think I have your script typeface on my computer (disregard my substitution, unless you like it!) so my interpretation looks a little different. But I think if you shrink your flower just a bit and place it in opposing corners, it’ll really help balance it out. I’ve attached a screenshot. Great work, though. I think just a few tweaks will make it perfect! 🙂

    “The Simpson House” shouldn’t touch the next line. Love the new one!

    @Avalein:  My pleasure! I love your inspiration invites and that you created something in the same style but uniquely you. I’m doing the same thing–I found something I liked but am redesigning it myself so it’ll be everything I want it to be!

    @Avalein:  You go Gurhl!!! You are brave and creative, I wish I could do my own invitations. I love your wording, I might want to steal it for my invitations.

    @emtimme:  love the remake…
