Right before the "submit" button, there's a little box that says "Subscribe to topic via email." That should do it for you.

You can also subscribe without replying, by hitting the "Subscribe to topic via email" link towards the top of the page (underneath the thread name)
You can also click the link at the top of the thread (on the boards only) that says 'Add to Favorites'. Your favorites are on the bottom of your profile, which you can see by clicking the 'View your profile' link in the upper right corner.

So I'll just add that if you have ideas for weddingbee in the future, there's a really neat Ideas feature - you can find the link at the top left of any page, above the Bride on the header. :) You can go there to vote for and comment on ideas other have suggested as well!
You can also add them to your favorites at the top; then it will show up in your profile.
I wish we could add blog posts to our favorites.
I don't like the subscribe via email feature because I don't want to get bombarded with emails. I just want to be able to come on the site and have a list of topics I'm following.

I would love to see a subscribe option to threads. Anyone else? I'm not sure where to post this idea, so I just did it in the beehive. I find so many threads that I want to see what happens, or to see other pictures, and can never find them again.
