Would love to see everyone's heirloom e-rings and bands (or custom made)!

Beautiful ring with a lovely story behind it. Here’s my ring – it’s not heirloom but the stone is – my MIL passed away 2 years ago. FI had my ring custom made from a pendant she left to him and his sister (who very graciously gave it up to FI – I’m blessed with a wonderful family in law).

Sorry about the massive pic

Your heirloom is stunning!  Is it an oval or round?  Either way, it’s gorgeous on your hand!  Mine isn’t an heirloom (yet), but it is custom made.  My 7 year old daughter is already looking forward to the day she gets it, lol.

@beeb:  Beautiful ring!  All these are so gorgeous.  I LOVE heirlooms.  My e-ring was my great-grandmother’s and then my grandmother’s, and my wedding band was also my grandmother’s   <3

Detail on the engraved wedding band:

@wrkbrk:  Ooh yum, I’d take one of those right now!!!

My e-ring is not exactly heirloom (in that no one passed it down to me), but it is definitely vintage, seller’s guess was ~30 years old.

My wedding band was my mother’s. It broke and she got a better one, so I got her permission to have the old one repaired, as I’d always admired it!

Lovely heirloom OP! Sadly we don’t have that option in our family. Wish we did!

Mine was custom made including the wedding bands:

My w-band was my great-grandmother’s! My great-grandfather was a jeweler and made it FOR her! So it’s from the mid 1940s and totally one-of-a-kind.

The e-ring is not an heirloom, but the band is.  It belonged to my great aunt on my mother’s side and she and her husband willed some pieces of jewelry to my grandmother, including their wedding set, an anniversary ring, an eternity band and a diamond band.  I got my great-aunt’s wedding band, my cousin got my great-uncle’s wedding band, and the anniversary band and eternity ring were made into pendants and earrings for my mother and my aunts.

@lolot:  love both your rings and their history!

Mine were someone’s at some point. I don’t know their story ( I wish I did and make up stories sometimes in my mind). We bought them at an antique shop all seperately, but I think they go well together!

(ETA: They’re from the 1920s and 30s)

@FoolsintheRain:  Same here! My set is hallmarked 1894 and I love to imagine the women that wore it before me.
