@kmarie84:  I have a .75 ct centre stone and my ring size is 5.5. I think a .7 with a halo will look great on your size finger.

My stone is about 0.75/0.8 and I also have a size 4.5 finger. 🙂 No halo though since my fiance didn’t really like that look. Works well for me!

P.S. Welcome to the Bee!!

@kmarie84:  Welcome to the Bee!  Smile

I would honestly suggest trying on some rings in a store just to get a better idea.  You’re not obligated to buy anything, so it won’t hurt.  I ended up still loving a lot of the things I initially thought I would when I actually tried rings on.  That being said, I originally thought I wanted a 3-stone ring.  After actually trying one on, I realized it looked awful on my hand and decided against it.  (I obviously went with my fiance to choose the ring.)

My center stone is 0.75 and the tcw is right around 1.00.  I wear a 4.25.  I think this is a great size for a smaller finger, but I still think trying actual rings on can help you get a better idea.

A picture for reference:

Also, @blushbliss: and @Arrowchan: you both have gorgeous rings!

6.5 finger and 0.79 diamond – perfect size for me.  Any bigger and I would be self conscious in the line of work I do.

Welcome to the hive! We have the same first initial and middle name 🙂 Here’s my girl, .75cts and I’m a 5.25. Definitely try on some rings in person before committing to anything online though!

@kmarie84: I have found one online that I am interested in. It is a 0.7 C center stone 1.18 TCW, platinum halo ring VS 2 and I in colour ($4000). My ring size is 4.5. I’m new to this whole ring buisness and since it’s online I can’t try it on….I would love to see pics of all your beautiful rings to get a better idea of what it would look like. Also if you have any input as to whether this sounds good or any suggestions at all I would love the input….if you could include your specs w the pics along w ring size that would be great 🙂

What are the stats on the center stone?

Here on James Allen, there’s an ideal cut .70 I VS2 for $2260 and a platinum halo setting for it for $1600. So it looks like you’re paying an approx. correct price. I just want to make sure you’re paying for a GIA certed stone that is ideal cut for that price.
