I’m about to be a guest at a wedding in a few weeks. It will be outdoors on the lawn/garden of an old mansion-type house. It starts at 6:00 but will still be daylight and it’s outdoors. The bride attended my wedding and I think she wore a tan pencil skirt and white blouse to my wedding… Would this be appropriate to wear to hers? (I ask because I already have this dress, and I’m wondering if I need to buy something else…)

what’s in your opinion makes you question this?

I wore a very similar dress to a wedding last month. You have great taste!

I think that dress would be fine. If it is an outdoor wedding and you haven’t been requested to wear formal attire I say go for it. Do you plan on pairing it with some colorful jewelry or shoes? I think that would really make the dress look sharp.

I’d wear it, depending on dress code, but probably pair it with a shrug sweater/small cardigan or shawl.

Very cute and totally appropriate.

I was just wondering if it would be dressy enough. My wedding was in the evening (purely because it is cooler in the evening) and everyone tried to make it more formal than it was intended to be, so I just thought it couldn’t hurt to ask!
The invitation doesn’t indicate any extra formality, and I believe she said her bridesmaids dresses are short, so I think surely this will be fine. Thanks for the advice girls! I always second guess myself with this kind of stuff.
I have only worn the dress once, and with a white crocheted shrug. I have red kitten heels that I was going to wear it with.
