My FH loves kelly green, so I am thinking of adding some kelly green tulle to fill out my dress (like having a dyed crinoline).
I like the idea of colored shoes, but I am afraid that next to the colored tulle, it might be overkill. However, I am wondering if these watercolor flats would work.
EDIT: My uploads are not working, so I apologize for using links:

I think your fiance may appreciate the kelly green more in other places . . . like under your dress (lingerie!) 🙂

You could probably do green tulle with green shoes, but everyone’s attention would float down to your feet instead of your face! I vote getting kelly green shoes that peek out every so often versus the tulle that’s a little more in your face. Another thought —- get a kelly green fascinator or brooch/hairpiece to add to your veil! That could be fun and would tie the look together!

If you still want to do the tulle, I would do it with the second pair of shoes but not the first.
I would prefer green (allover) shoes though, personally.

I would probably do just green shoes personally. I would be afraid that a dark green crinoline might show through the dress fabric making it look darker at the bottom.

thanks for saving me from being a mess, ladies! on to searching for green shoes!
stacynrick, i love your idea of adding something green in my hair. i might do a small peacock feather type thing for the reception (saw some barrettes on the aldo website that inspired me)!
