Would this be fun for you as a guest?

I agree that other than the pig roast, it sounds fun! I’m vegetarian and seeing a big roasted pig would make me uncomfortable, even if it was roasted elsewhere. I get kind of cranky if I’m hot and there’s bugs around so hopefully there’s a way to combat the mosquitoes 🙂

I would love to go to a camp wedding like that! Just make sure there’s enough veggie sides to make up a meal for your veg guests

hannah22 :  our wedding was super casual and we had amazingly good feedback! I asked lots of advice on here and it helped me a lot. We made it clear that comfy footwear is totally fine and we had lots of seating choices (more formal and casual )

Lots of people told us it was the best wedding they ever attended. You can check out our guest photo recap on here! I posted it last night. We got married on July 15 🙂

Sounds like a blast! The only down side I see is the bugs. I’m a mosquito magnet and I get kinda grumpy if I’m in a dress and being eaten alive with nowhere for refuge.

That sounds soooo fun!!

The only negative thing that crossed my mind is August where I live and in a lot of other states is HOTTTT even in the evening, and under a tent so that could be an issue for elderly guests. Maybe rent an industrial fan or something?

This sounds like the perfect relaxed celebration, well done. If you’re feeling like it needs touches of formality you could DIY sweet little place cards for your guests.

You could also add a printed menu to your place setting. It might detail what food is being provided and what the Vegetarian options are. This will also limit questions on the night! Not sure how you’re planning to serve the food, but setting salads and vegetables on large share platters down the tables would suit your relaxed, family style vibe.

Have a lovely celebration!
