How would you get the car there and back? I would be worried about leaving it at the location overnight.

I think that would be cute! We might use the Chevelle (unless we get the Nova finished by then) to do some of ours in :) LOVE that car!!!
I don't think it's weird. We are using the FFIL's 1967 corvette. We aren't going any where in it but we are taking photos and driving away from the venue. We talked about driving it down the block to McDonald's and getting a late night snack. Then driving back to the venue. The FFIL is taking care of getting the car to and from the venue. We will have our car to haul all of our wedding decor to and from.
It sounds awesome!!! My daughter is having a 1944 fire truck parked at her venue for photo ops (he's a firefighter) and they definitely aren't driving away in it ;-)

so were having our ceremony and reception at the same place (and staying the night there). for pictures i thought it would be cool, my FI has a old 1969 voltswagon bug, if we brought it to the place and put a just married sign on it and took some pictures in it. would that be weird to do since were not technically using it as our going away car?
