So its Sunday morning here and my SO has gone to work. I’m in bed showing my dog cute dog you tube videos when this random proposal clip popped up! Honestly I did not search for proposals ha ha it’s a very public way for a proposal and wouldn’t be my cup of tea! I still smiled and cried though would this type of proposal be your cup of tea?

The concept is cute… but not for me.
I don’t like YouTube Worthy Displays of anything… I am far more private.
In all honestly, I don’t think the Bride2B was too crazy about this either… I got the impression for awhile in the video (after he dragged her up into the aisle) that she was seriously thinking “What the H3LL”
I honestly thought she looked like she wanted to tell him NO, but was too embarrassed to in front of all those people / cameras
But then by the end she took the ring and seemed ok with it.
I’d sure like to know if it all worked out ok in the end… did they stay engaged / get married.
Like I said, I sure didn’t see that “vibe” going on… and I think this whole Engagement was a TOTAL SURPRISE… in so much as they never even talked about Marriage & their future in their relationship.
So ya, NOT how I’d want a Proposal to go down.

@This Time Round: true she did shake her head a few times and say no!!! I would live to witness a you tube worthy marriage proposal but would want the ground to open and swallow me if I was put in that situation!!

Ouch, she was really not happy about that proposal! I agree-it looks like it was a total shock, like they hadn’t even talked about marriage. This type of proposal is definitely over the top and maybe cute for some, but definitely not for me 😛
I’d be much more comfortable not being in public–or semi-public, as long as it’s not in front of a million people. The people on the plane didn’t look too thrilled either, did they? (except the dancers haha…)

@Bettyboo1982: Have you seen this one? The future bride is much happier 🙂
And it was done just with family and friends!

@Bettyboo1982: If I was on that plane I’d be having a panic attack. Sit your asses down! Flying 30,000 ft above the ground in a metal tube isn’t the time to be dancing around, YOU CRAZIES!

@mrspinesol: loll, I know right and literally she has no where to escape if she did want to say no!!

I would DIE. Just die. But I’m assuming she knew he was over the top if she’d been dating him any length of time. My problem is that it seemed as if the proposal was more about him than her. Didn’t take into account her personality but let him be on “stage” for his own little YouTube extravaganza. Ick. Very selfish.
