I chose a round diamond for my engagement ring and now I am having regrets because the only other diamond ring I have is a round. My original diamond is the center diamond from my mother’s engagement ring, and she had it set into a ring with two sapphire accents on the sides, and gave it to me as a high school graduation present. I wear that on my right hand.
I am now wondering if I should have chosen a different cut for my own engagement ring, because it may not look right when I have both rings on at the same time.

I think you’re overthinking it.
It would not bother me at all. 🙂

I think since it has other stones on it & doesn’t look exactly like your e-ring it wouldn’t bother me at all. Your fine, wear whatever makes you happy! I think alot of woman have many rings with the same shape stones because they like that shape!

It would actually bother me if they were two different shapes. 🙂 I think since the other has colored stones, it won’t be perceived by the general public and being similar to your e-ring.

Thank you bees for the feedback. I am very happy that the major majority thinks that it is not a big deal at all. I realllllly do not want to go back to the drawing board, and you have all given me peace of mind that I needed.
