I don't think so at all. My sister had almost the exact same color and it looked great! In fact I think it made her dress shine even more. I'll see if I can find some pictures.
I definitely don't think so! I love the look of a really rich color BM dress, because it really makes the white of the bride's dress pop!!
NOTHING can overpower the Bride! :) Seriously...I have seen many weddings with bold colors. The bride always stands out. No one is really concentrating on your BMs.
Not at all!!! You're the bride, your dress and YOU will be a million more times gorgeous. Nothing's going to overpower you, not even if your BM's wore skintight cheetah print mini-dresses! Lol. The BM dresses are a great, elegant color...they'll be wonderful!

Definitely not! I think it will look great!! I'm standing in a wedding in July and the bride is going with the same colour for her BM's and I think its going to look amazing in pictures. The richness of the purple is just amazing in photos.

I am thinking of getting this color bridesmaid dress for my 8 bridesmaids (but NOT the style -it would be strapless). Would this deep plum overpower my dress? I've attached pictures of both. The dresses would be strapless.
