That would totally work! It seems like you both have similar length hair w/ similar curl. I love it!
Yes! I think it's perfect for you :)
@MrsMcGyro: My hair holds a curl very well, too, so I can always have the stylist add a little something. I'm just relieved to have found something!
It looks kinda like what I did

I loved it! and it held up all night and the next day too!
I think that is perfect for your hair and face shape!
BTW- totally jealous of your gorgeous hair! If I could stand to grow my hair out past 6 inches...sigh. I wish I was joking. Its painful to even try for a chinlength bob for my August wedding!
You are going to look stunning, daaaahling.
@jamiemichelle: Wow, that's beautiful! I hope mine looks that good.
@MissTatas: The downside is, I can't wear my hair short...I'm jealous of women with hair that behaves and looks awesome in a short style, 'cos mine just poofs awkwardly. I hope it works out!
That would totally work! Your hair is the perfect texture to pull it off and I'm jealous. I know I had the length to do something like that but it would NEVER hold a curl. I say go for it.
WINNER! Love it! And with your hair being full and wavy already, it will look so natural.
I love this style! I think you should totaly do it! It would look amazing on you.
Thanks, ladies! :) I'm a little apprehensive about having ALL my hair back from my face, but I need to suck it up and get over that, lol.
@StatutoryGrape
I was worried about the same thing, but that style is really flattering. My face gets really round when all my hair is pulled back, but I just let the hairstylist know I wanted it "cascading" and loose... It worked out perfectly!

I found a hairstyle I really, really love for the reception and am looking for some basic opinions on whether it will work with my face shape and dress. (For face shape, check out this post: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/which-hairstyle-for-the-ceremony-ignore-my-derpface)
I have an off-the-shoulder dress and I think this hairstyle is the best of both worlds--it keeps the hair off one side to show off the neckline, but I get to show off my hair, too. My bone structure isn't as delicate as Emmy's, sadly, but I still love the style. I like the makeup in these pics, too, so that's an added bonus.
What say you, Hive? Like it? Keep looking?
