For my wedding, I would move heave and earth (or, rearrange my birth control pill schedule) to avoid being on my period!

One of the major reasons why I track my period. It’s scheduled to come two weeks after the wedding. Even if…I’m wearing my ivory dress. Period or no. That’s what tampons, and pads and more layers are for.

i would double up with big pad, tampon, and a tide pen. You gotta do what you gotta do!

Why not? I’ve never bled on myself before & I’ve had some pretty heavy periods being off bc now.

Do you really bleed through pads & tampons?

You can always take the dress off and put it back on each time you need to use the restroom. It does take a lot of time away from your reception, but that may put your mind at ease regarding the situation.

@asianyoushi:  Wow…I’m sorry to hear that! Could you talk to your doctor and see if maybe you can take something that might lessen the bleeding? I’m not certain anything like that is possible, but you’re certainly not going to want to change every half hour on your wedding day.

I haven’t had a period leak since I was like 12 (thanks to super light periods), so this problem would never have even occured to me.
