Your dress is gorgeous! I actually think it looks lovely without a brooch - but I do think a brooch could call attention to the empire waist. I'd suggest buying a cheap piece of costime jewelery andtrying it on just to get a sense of what size/shape you might like and to make sure it doesn't take away from the lace. You may find you want something with bling or something subtly in just silver or gold by doing that. Please post a pic when you have one!

So this is my dress. It's a Sottero and Midgley. The bit where the ribbon meets under the bust, there used to be a big bow there. I hated it. Would I put a brooch there do you think? Or leave it as is? Or add some crystals? Thanks heaps!
