    Jeo4500:  I really love simple rings. I think it’s a great choice.

It’s not my style, so no. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t pick it if it’s what you like

I like the simplicity of the setting, but I prefer colored stones.

I like a lot of bling so not for me.

It’s a simple and classic style. But personal preferences vary.

Why don’t you go try some on and get a better idea of what you like.

Eh, not my style but it’s I suppose you can’t go wrong with a solitaire?

I would, but picking a ring is such a personal thing, it shouldn’t matter what anyone else thinks (except maybe your FH).

I love simple rings – give me a nice solitaire over some Gypsy Bride ten-stone quadruple-halo any day! I think it’s lovely 🙂 But everyone has their own tastes. Do YOU like it?

What the eff? This question is so bizaar… If you’re into simple solitaires how far off of the mark can you get?… What kind of consensus are you hoping to come to through asking a bunch of strangers if they would be “happy” with that ring?… Are there any more parmaters other than happy with it?

Simplicity is often the key for me. The stone remains the center of attention and it will lend itself to so many looks. Plain wedding band. Eternity band. Stack set. The options and looks are endless. So I absolutely love simple and delicate rings. There is a reason why solitaires are such a classic.

No!  But then what does that matter?  The question is would you?  And as always with these type of questions, if you are asking then chances are you aren’t entirely happy with it.

Incidentally, what actual difference would it make if I had answered ‘yes’??

I would, but that’s because I like the look of a solitaire. Do YOU like it? That’s the most important thing.

Jeo4500:  I really like the simplicity of it, but would like it even better with a slightly different setting. Overall, though, I would be happy with it.
