Would you be upset if your husband wanted to go sky diving while you're pregnant

More people die in traffic accidents than sky diving accidents. It is actually a very safe sport with far less injuries than a lot of common sports.

I would have no problem with my husband doing any kind of sport like this.

hspw714:  I don’t think I would have minded if my fiance did something like that when I was pregnant, but I would never have to worry about it because he’s scared of heights! lol.

hspw714:  My DH did it a week before our wedding for his bachelor party.  It was a surprise for him but I knew and I was very excited for him :).  I agree with PP, it’s very safe…was more worried about him doing something stupid like shaving his head lol

I don’t want to skydive for myself but it’s definitely not something I’d get mad about if he wanted to, pregnant or not.

It wouldn’t bother me. It’s very safe, and I’m not sure what difference my being pregnant would make. It’s not as if people need to completely put their lives on hold when they have kids!

I’d only get mad because I TOTALLY want to do it and he’d be choosing a time to do it when I couldn’t!

I’d only be mad because I’d want to do it with him! But if I had no interest in it, I wouldn’t mind at all!

hspw714:  I would be the same way, I wouldn’t want him to skydive while i’m pregnant. First off, I get super hormonal so ’nuff said there. Additionally, I would worry quite a few days leading up to it and we all know being stressed out like that isn’t good for the baby. So basically, no I wouldn’t be having that lol.

winstonchurchill:  Haha, +1!

We’ve talked about going before, but haven’t had a chance to do it yet. So I’d be super upset if he chose to go when I couldn’t!

I have been skydiving plenty of times and have never felt like it wasn’t safe. I actually feel safer skydiving than flying in a commercial plane. If my fiancé wasn’t so terrified of heights I would have no issue with him going.

I’d be fine with it. I mean, I may feel uneasy, because I’m a worry wart. But the likelihood of him being injured is so slim. He’d have a higher chance of getting in a car crash commuting to/from work.
