@Bride7844:  I’m not really into bachelorette parties where there would be strippers, personally. If I knew that going in, I would not go, so perhaps I’m not the best to ask for your poll.

I wouldn’t expect strippers at any of my friends’ parties… topless waiters would be strange/crazy enough! I’d throw in $50 for drinks if I was a BM.

@Bride7844:  I wouldn’t be disappointed but I might be a little confused that the wait staff was considered entertainment is all. Eye candy, yes. Entertainment? Unless they’re dancing, singing or doing a monologue, I don’t know. 😉

I’m kind of confused. I consider hanging out with the girls and chatting totally entertaining so EVen of there were no strippers or topless waiters I wouldn’t shirk at lack of “entertainment”. Is that a code word for strippers in your area?

I voted wouldn’t mind, but  now thinking about it, you wouldn’t really be providing entertainment. Stripping is entertainment, serving drinks is well, serving drinks.

Why not just not put that on the invite at all?

@Bride7844:  In that case I guess I would feel ripped off. I’m not into strippers but if I paid 50 bucks to see a stripper and instead that ended up to be the cost of a shirtless guy to pour me a drink I can get myself it would be annoying…

I still think I might not put it on the invite, just let it be a surprise.

Personally, if I was only spending $50 to see the entertainment, I don’t think it would be worth it for a half an hour show.

I would spend the money though, just to be part of a friends bachelorette party. I guess I just feel like not putting it on the invitation at all makes it so there are no worries about exepectations being met.

if you are worrried about people not wanting to pay if there is no entertainment, I don’t think 30 minutes is enough to make them happy they spent the money.
