I think these are beautiful! I love the t-shirt headband especially!!
I think they're really cute, but I agree that the market for high priced hair clips (and I consider over $10 high priced) is pretty small.
You could try starting an etsy shop, but there are tons of shops with hair clips, so it may be hard to get started.
PS - the tshirt headband is amazing!
Why not just start up a shop and see what you can sell? I'd try for somewhere in the $30-$40 range, maybe. Remember that you have to factor in the cost of your labor, and the fee from whatever site you post on. You'll never know until you try!
Very beautiful! I think those would be beautiful for bridesmaids.
I would not buy them(I don't really wear hair accesories), but I think they are very, very cute!!
I love them! The wedding flower is exactly the kind of hair piece I want for my wedding! I agree with MandaMack that an etsy shop may be a good starting place. I have noticed on etsy that most people make sample ones and then make them as orders come in. This would ensure you are not putting in a great amount of time and energy on something with no return.
The pricing is hard. Some people do not realize how steep material prices can be. I would pay around $20-25. This price range is on the high end of what I would spend, but I really do like buying handmade items!
I agree that setting up on etsy or trying to get to some local craft shows (holdiays are a big time for them at most high schools and churches) and start there.
these are pretty! personally, i would sell them for $15-30, depending on the cost of materials used. just keep in mind that places like etsy have A LOT of people selling similar hair clips and headbands, so price on the lower end if you want to sell a lot.
I think they're beautiful. If I see it on the streets I would be willing to pay $20-$30 for one. I'm more frugal shopping online so if I see it on Esty I'm not sure if I would buy it unless I really need it for my wedding or whatnot. But if you advertise it as a wedding accessory you can probably price it $20-$50.

So I am a hair acessory junkie and so is my daughter & I have been making hairbows and hair acessories for years it started out with my daughter and not wanting to spend money on ugly plastic hairbows for her to then since I have grown my hair out from a pixie cut to my own hair acessories. I also made them for my wedding and for my bridesmaids and my daughter and I have made my daughters friends some and I have made several things for family to cordinate with halloween costumes.
Sometimes I buy some cheap ones premade like simple flowers and jazz them up but most of the time I make them from scratch. It is everything from simple ribbon bows, to Fancy Flowers and feathers and brooches.
My husband tells me constantly that I need to start making ones to sell and I get tons of compliments on them at work and have had several several people ask where i purchased them and they are always suprised when i say i made it. My little girls apparently always has friends who are wanting them because she always wants me to make her friends some.
While I would LOVE LOVE LOVE TO DO IT I am just afraid there is no market for it around here. There seems to be a million people online who sell hairbows and I have seen a few different adds in my area for people who sell hairbows but I dont think they make anything but ribbon bows and sell the traditional big gerber daisy for the crochet hats or the headbands.
The problem is price. How much would be resonable to charge. Some of the ones I make cost me $10 and up to make them because of the use of brooches and other jewlry pieces... not to mention factoring in the little things i already have on hand that i use..such as hot glue, feathers, felt, needle, thread, hairclips etc....So I dont know if people would want to pay enough for me to even profit from them
i could make some not quiet as glammed up by using simple beads or other flatback rhinestones they just dont quiet have the same look.
I would just like some opinions on these that I have made in the last week. Hehe I am guilty of making a new one everytime I buy a new shirt so I can match and cordinate.
These are cell phone pictures so the quality is not super but here is a few of the pieces I have made this week for myself. I would just love some HONEST opinions even if that means you think they are hideous and look cheap and perhaps give me an idea of what you might pay for something like it.
Sometimes I use flowers sometimes i just use feathers sometimes i make a flower shape around the centers. Sometimes i make a bow with feathers with a jewled center. Sometimes I use laces or synthetic fabrics to create flowers.

This was my most "creative" piece This is definately alot more casual.... This was made from one of my favorite old tee shirts i spilled coffee on it the other day and it had a stain on it and it had a hole in the underarm but I just threw it in my craft room bc i couldnt bare to trash it and I am so glad I didnt.
This is made 100% with the old cotton tee shirt and a dollar store headband
And this was my wedding flower
