OMG I know – After reading Miss Fro Yo’s post w/ pictures I totally wanted to go out and have one. I hadn’t ever heard of them either however…My brother and sister in law live in Dallas and while visiting them over new years I went to my first dress outing at Stanley Korshak and when the gal asked if I was doing one I was like, “what the eff are you talking about” thinking they were for debutants or something….then she told me what they were and I was still like, “um no I will not be having one…” Now I want one so so so much…I have to figure out what the cost would be – I mean for everything: Hair, Makeup, Photog, and then I would have to choose a place….I live in Seattle so as cliché as this sounds…I would want it at the Original Starbucks…….
That would be amazing, I love the coffee house look, and to have it be the original Starbucks would make it even better.
We have a cupcake shop in my neighborhood with swing seats at the little bar... I think that'd be super cute!

Cute, have you bumped your head - - that is dreamy!!!! And I have to admit, I would want the store to open early so we could be the only ones in there, HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA
EDIT = PS = I also love movies and I go to the movies by myself at least once every 2-3 weeks. Its something I do and I have always done. So I also wouldn't mind having the session at an independent movie store - you know where I can stand in the windows with the movie posters, HAHAHHAHAHAHHAH - OK now I am getting a little bit ahead of myself.....
Well of course, you wouldn't want anyone spilling coffee on your dress, it only makes sense! :P
Don't you wish you could just kidnap an amazing photographer for the day, and go to all sorts of locations? My favorite photographer is really expensive, but all the locations I love for our engagement shots, etc, are spread across the city. Transportation time alone would be a nightmare.
that is so so so cute!!!!
and @lily you should toooootally go to that cupcake place :) sooo amazing!!!!!
I have been putting some serious thought into them because I think they are gorgeous and I love that they are able to capture you in the dress outside the realm of the wedding.
If I could afford it, I would definitely do a bridal session. I loved Miss Fro Yo's pictures, and it was her Bridal session (and her cutes shoes) that made me decide to go with blue shoes.
I might get dolled up in the dress with my BMs before the wedding and use our DSLR camera to take some shots.
I'm in the same boat in regards to affording it... engagement shots are something I'm definitely investing in, but as for bridal session or boudoirs, it's really going to depend on how much money I can save.
Usually the Bee saves me money with creative ideas, but this one may just take a chunk of my paychecks!
I'm probably doing one, because I live in the south and damnit that's just what you do! Lol. My photog offers a bridal and an engagement in the package price plus I won a bridal shoot at a bridal show!
One was included in our photog package, but we can cash it in for credit on an album so I was going back and forth about it until I saw all of those fabulous pictures! Now I want to do mine somewhere cool like that...or maybe out in a big open field. One of the bees posted pics a while back with an old velvet couch in the middle of a big open field. Definitely drool-worthy.
My mom did one and I have always loved the pictures. I would love to do one if I had the money.
I was thinking about doing one after the wedding/honeymoon etc. I know if I went before I'd be all "oh can I really sit here? is it dirty? did I just smudge my dress? Don't step on the train" neurotic haha. But who wouldn't love an excuse to put the dress back on after the fanfare ends?!
I have one included in our photography package, actually. I'm not really sure how I feel about it, honestly! On one hand, I'm super excited about it because YAY it's really the only time I'll get to wear my dress other than the wedding. On the other hand... I kinda would want to do a second engagement session- we have so many of those pictures that we took ourselves and not nearly enough of us being silly cute cheesy! But oh well! My mom is super excited about it.

I admit it... I'm totally inspired by Miss Fro Yo's to-die-for bridal session - and I had never heard of them before!
So would you book a bridal session? Where would you want to do it?
