Do you not have enough time to get your dress for your wedding?  Or just not enough time to take pictures beforehand?

Oops I didnt realize the poll was about the dress itself – I thought it was about if you should buy a dress and return it after wearing it – which I voted ew to – I would NOT do that – if you like the dress buy it and wear it to other wedding related events if you dont want to pay for a dress just for pictures – I don’t think you should (esp that it is white) buy and return.  Anyways, the dress is super cute.

I would never return used clothing.

I think I’m understanding correctly – you want to buy a dress knowing you’re going to return it after wearing it for pics?

I voted that’s it’s gross to buy it, wear it, then take it back. And pick something else…that you PAY for.

It’s a cute dress, but I wouldn’t do that. First of all, you’re probably not going to be able to tuck the tags in because of the lace back, and secondly, it just feels like it’s wrong :(. Besides, July’s probably going to be hot and you’re going to get sweaty.

The dress is pretty.  I don’t think it’s right to return used clothing.  Buy what you can afford.

It’s not gross, but it is totally unethical.

Why can’t you use your actual wedding dress?

I think it’s unethical, on a very large scale.  Not only would I NOT do this….EVER.  I would go one step further and would not use a *professional* vendor that directed me to do something like this.  Imagine how she runs her business if she is fine to break policies and skirt the system.

Buy the dress. Its super cute, but don’t return it to the store. I think thats kind of shady, and taking advantage of a company’s policies. I don’t understand why you would only wear it for 30 minutes, either… why not wear it all day? And then, if you don’t want to keep it sell it online or take see if you can sell it to a resale shop?
