If the two weddings did not have a great deal of guest list overlap, I would definitely do it!  BUT- if both weddings were friends and many guests would be at both, then no I probably wouldn’t.

I would, even if it was the exact group of people at both weddings.  However, I’m pretty cheap when it comes to buying clothes, I hate shopping and I have a very limited wardrobe lol.

sure- but i would accessorize the dress differently, as well as do my hair & makeup differently.

If the friend/family group overlapped alot, then no, but otherwise – yes!

I would if there wasn’t a lot of overlap between guests. If it was for the same exact social circle, then no, I would get something else.

Have you heard of renttherunway.com? I rented my bachelorette party dress from there and highly recommend them!

robynrox47:  I own a boutique so this would def. be a hellz no for me plus I am one of those “crazy girls” that feels once you are photographed in something it would be a big no no to wear it at another event where I would potentially be photographed. Call it superficial… but I just cant. Although, I will admit, I NEVER would notice if someone else would do it. LOL

Oh and I then wore it for new years a month or so later. It was a lovely chocolate brown so I just wore different coloured accessories each time 🙂

robynrox47:  I feel you! Before I had my store, I was still the same way. I would hit up stores like Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, etc and find something fab for not a lot of money. I mean, you could always sale it on ebay after the fact if you did find something expensive. I always found ways to justify buying a new dress though … I may not be what you need right now. LOL

did it.  and no big deal.  i only have one black tie dress.  the guest lists did not over lap, but 6 months previous, i did wear the same dress with the same people from one of the weddings.  i didn’t care and i’m sure not a single person remembered.

If I loved the dress, or if it was a cost issue, I definitely would. Just maybe change up your accessories.
