SOOOO Be honest!! would you EVER tell your FI/DH that he had bad breath? or stank? Or basically anyhing bad about themselves? Hahaha my sister was complaining about her bf saying that he has really bad breath and doesnt know how to tell him lmaooo.. Omg I dont kno how I can ever tell my FI. What bout you?

Dude! I tell him all the time. And I fart like crazy, so he lets me know too. I'm secretly hoping I get picked to blog this round so I can be Miss Skunk. :)
Hell yeah I would lol. She can just subtly start offering him a lot of Listerine strips or breath mints. ;p
I have no problems telling my FI when he stinks! He does the same to me. I think it is kind of mean not to tell them...who wants to walk around all day with bad breath?
OMG. YES! His breath was like death the other morning. It actually made me dry heave. And I told him so. lol And I would expect him to the same, of course.
Ah, I tell him all the time! Or I just hand him the mouth wash :) He pretends to be offended.
I have told him, and he has told me. I wouldn't want him going out in public with a stinky mouth or stinky armpits.
If he stinks, I tell him bluntly. He does the same for me.
I tell my FI all the time...he did not have good dental hygiene while growing up, nor is he fond of the dentist. I basically told him don't kiss me until you get that checked out lol. He has, and is getting it dealt with. I have a very sensitive nose...I pick up on bad odours before any one else, except my dog lol.

He, however, always thinks I smell nice. Silly puppy!
I have this fear that I smell bad... not to sure where it came from, but I always ask him if I'm a bit funky, but him? oye, he is really sensitive about it, he's always been "a bit smelly" as he says to me and he was picked on as a kid because of it. he's pretty aware of it, so I usually don't have to tell him.

Do you think I want him to walk around and people saying "god, he stinks... how on earth does someone, ANYONE deal with that?"
...Becasue that's what I think about people who stink.
@vmec: I think the same thing and I think that's why I'm paranoid that I smell bad! lol.
I would be more mad if Fi didnt tell me! If he is stinky I just give him a towel (if he needs a shower) or hand him the mouth wash.
Oh yeah! FI works in a hot shop all day and I tell him he is smelly when he sits down next to me and tries smoochin up on me!
oh all the time! i don't think i'd be ready to marry him if i couldn't tell him that he stinks haha
Yup... I tell him all the time if hes stinking and should go hop in the shower!
Oh, totally. He's actually more conscious of his own stank than I am, I'll be like "Whatever, you just smell like clean sweat," and he's over there like "I'll be in the shower, you don't need to know how I smell right now." It's cute. But we absolutely tell each other when there's funky breath going on or anything like that.

He says I always smell good, but I don't believe him!
I had to tell him he was stinky last night. I sleep on his shoulder most nights and it's hard to get sleepy when your nose is inches away from a stinky armpit!
Do people really have a problem with this? Like for real? I tell my DH all the time that he smells... he does a labor job right now, so he comes home smelling so stank! And I tell him to go take a shower. And if his breath smells I tell him. I don't see anything wrong with this. He gets mad sometimes... but it's not like I make him go immediately and brush his teeth. I just like to make fun of him :)
Of course I tell him if he stinks! And he does the same with me. I can't fathom not being able or willing to do this.
My husband told me that I can always tell him if he smells bad/needs a shower. Sometimes, he comes home from golfing thinking that he didn't sweat much and therefore doesn't smell bad, but if I think otherwise, he wants to know.
He's smart enough to realize that the better he smells, the closer I will cuddle to him. :)
I hate bad breath. And that is one reason why morning after breath kills me. I jump out of bed to gurgle or brush my teeth if I want to bring my mouth near anyone. Ugh. I live in NYC and whenever I smell someone with body odor or bad breath, I wonder how come they or anyone around them doesn't notice it before they live the house. Sometimes the smell is enough to induce dry heaves :(
Of course I tell him. If you're comfortable enough with someone that you are MARRYING them then you should be able to tell them when they are stinky!
haha, yes! He DOEs have very bad breath sometimes, and I tell him that! (BUT... especially for a guy, he NEVER has stinky feet or stinky anywhere else! I am so lucky! :-D )
Absolutely! I don't want him walking around with bad breath stinking other people out! LOL...he always teases me when he has a bat in the cave that he notices later and I didn't notice or tell him. Same goes for when his fly is down. He totally blames me for not noticing before he walks out the door

Of course I tell him when he stinks and he does the same to me, its called being comfortable with one another. Just yesterday at work he texted, "Bay, your ass was horrible last night, no more taquitos for you!"
Of course I would tell him. You should be honest with your partner. He's certainly not shy about telling me when I'm not smelling springtime fresh!
