Not that they are not super cute! I love cupcakes and I have been to weddings where they had cupcakes but I really want to have my dream cake.

I think they're adorable. FH is much more of a cake person. But if you and your FH are up for it then go for it! It's actually becoming much more popular to have cupcakes as you can have loads of different flavours.

I know alot of people do this, and it's been SUPER popular for a while now. I don't actually want a cake at all, but my mom wants us to have a small one for cutting.

we were going to do cupcakes. but when we met with the chef at our venue, he didn't seem very excited and suggested croquembouche, (he's french), which for some reason i fell in love with.

We're doing cupcakes. And a 6" round cake at the top of the cupcake stand for us to cut into. We're having 4 cupcake flavors: vanilla with vanilla icing, chocolate with vanilla icing, lemon with vanilla icing, and red velvet with cream cheese icing. And the cake is going to be funfetti! Obviously not from the box, our baker is just going to put sprinkles into the batter... simple pleasures, I know :)
