I usually get my nails done with Gellish before special occasions so yes, I voted for #2 ! It also feels good to have my nails pretty

You’re not crazy, I did that too. I had my nails so nice all summer in anticipation and once I got the ring I didn’t for months lol

I paint my nails every week.  My nails were painted when my Fiance proposed, but they were chipping.  I picked the last option because I thought it was funny.  But I’d say paint your nails if that’s what you usually do, you never know whne it might happen!

I wish I didn’t had peeled off polish when mine happened and if you dont get a proposal at least you got your nails done.

I might try not to let them go to hell in a handbasket (I’m a nail-picker) but I wouldn’t get a manicure in anticipation.  The first thing I did after getting my ring was book manicure appt though.  πŸ™‚

Lol, I voted the last option because it’s cute.  πŸ˜›

I knew when mine was coming (we picked up the ring from the jewler together after designing it and having it made together) and my nails looked like crap!  I hadn’t even considered it!  πŸ™‚

ETA: My nails usually look like crap and I don’t really do much to them but paint them on my own occasionally, so that may factor into my answer, haha.

I used to get my acrylics done but it was so expensive, plus I nearly ripped off my thumb nail the last time I took them off! So lately, I’ve been doing home manicures! I voted I’d do it myself… But right after I’m going in to get a pro manicure. I’ve been wanting one but actually  putting it off until I do get engaged πŸ™‚

I wasn’t sure which one to pick so I didn’t vote since I’ve been DIYing gelish in anticipation but still no proposal lol.  Since I quit biting my nails in the beginning of September, I’ve had them gelished (can I make that a verb?) just in case.

    I’m putting off studying!

I did DIY one weekend that I really thought it would happen on. But if I knew that a proposal was happening, I would totally go for another round. Lol.

Yes, definitely! I knew my proposal was coming and I went out for a mani and picked a sheer pink shade so that the ring would stand out more in the photos! LOL!

I voted yes. If I had a hunch it were coming, I’d definitely opt for a shellac … especially since it lasts for a few weeks πŸ˜‰ Especially right now … and around the holidays. Man, I feel so bad just confessing this!
