no.  I let his opinions influence my decision in some ways …. but some of the gowns on SYTTD that I find hideous are ‘not that bad’ to him.

Me and my fiance tend to have the same taste in weddings. While we were looking at dresses online he pointed to one that he likes and it happens to be the one sitting in my closet in a garmet bag right now. 😀 He pointed at it AFTER I got the dress

Legion:   No.  I want a dress that feels good on me, that isn’t itchy or binding, *and* that is flattering.

No way! I’m not even going to let him pick out what he’s going to wear!

No. I didn’t let him see my dress or know anything about it beforehand, and I will never forget the look on his face when he saw me walk down the aisle wearing it. It was really fun to keep it a total surprise.

If it was super important to him then… Maybe lol. I mean, we like similar things clothing wise, but I have a feeling he’d pick something very glsmorous   Or a mermaid…

Absolutely not!  While my DH does have good taste in women’s fashions, I still wanted a dress that was perfectly ME.

Also, who said he had ANY final decision in any of the wedding-related choices??  LOL

My FI has great fashion sense and since we have been together he has definitely helped me refine my style. He knows what I like and what looks great on me. When I was choosing my dress we looked online together and we loved, liked and hated all of the same dresses. Since I am confident that he would pick something that I would pick for myself, I would trust him to pick my dress if it mattered to him.

DH has no idea how to deal with my boobs in clothes. Bless his heart, he always picks out these strappy, flimsy little things that are beautiful, and I’d love to wear them, but G-cups and strapply flimsy things don’t mix.  I’m sure he’d pick out a beautiful dress that I’d never be able to wear without my boobs greeting my kneecaps.

Sure, he has good taste in clothes and that way we wouldn’t be getting married by a wolfman in an Elvis suit.

Hell to the no. Men don’t know their ass from their elbow when it comes to fashion and I’ve looked forward the dress my whole life! It is THE Dress Of Your Life- no ones picking it but me. And I insist on keeping it a surprise so that won’t work.

I’d love for him to have some say.  However, my boyfriend tends to like things on me that I feel uncomfortable in.  I’d rather him have interest in the other aspects of the wedding than just the dress though.

I’d be interested to know what he’d choose.

Sure. He’s got a pretty good eye and we mostly agree. I wouldn’t have minded if he had picked it out, but frankly he didn’t care.
