    I would love that.

I think those favors would be very well received by your guests, because it’s something you can actually use and enjoy regularly. I voted for different levels of heat and flavor.

I think favors that represent a hobby/interest/love of the bride and/or groom is another way to personalize a wedding.

My DH and I are wine fanatics so we gave each guest a wine stopper.  We felt that a wine stopper was a useful gift since many of our guests drink wine at home.  Each stopper was packed in a cute box with a thank you ribbon wrapped around it.  They came to 1.80 per person which we thought was reasonable.

@minted:  My cousin did that. They replaced the lable with their own with a picture and I think it said “Amor Picante”. It wasn’t the favor… there were just a couple at each table (the food was Mexican buffet). My mom went around grabbing all she could 😛

Cute idea since it’s something to showcase your FI’s personality…or his taste??  But if I was at your wedding I’d leave it behind…I’m not a fan of hot sauce and never use it.  I was gifted hot sauce at a destination wedding in Mexico and I left it at the reception…

I love spicy so I’d take any leftovers I could. I prefer favors that have some meaning to the couple, so even if I didn’t like hot sauce I’d still think it was cute.

Tabasco even sells cute mini bottles of hot sauce… I’ve bought them as a stocking stuffer for my FI before… I know you can get them on amazon

I LOVE hot sauce. I mean really love it. In our country, hot sauce is actually called ‘pepper sauce’ and many times it consists of just cut up, ground up or whole peppers pickled with seasonings and lime and I could eat an entire bottle in a day (and I’m from the coutnry with the world’s hottest pepper so our pepper sauce is amazingly spicy).

So to me, I wold love this. Tabasco is one of my favourites – the combo of heat and tanginess is great….especially with hot, salty fries. 😉

@minted:  I like the idea: but you definitely stick on a custom label!
