I think it's cute and I'd love it, but do the shirts have a big enough neck so they're okay to take off once their hair and makeup is done?
It's great that you're giving usable items! But, it's doubtful they'll wear the shirts again. How about just matching shirts (button up to accomodate hair?)?

Thanks girls! I just found out how much one of my bridesmaids is paying for alterations ($60)and it made me feel like I wasn't giving enough :(
@Michelle- the shirts have a scoop neck and they're suuper stretchy so I'm hoping they'll work!
I already made the shirts. I went the homemade route so they only ended up costing me about $10 each so I don't mind if they threw them away :) I just thought it would be cute for pictures! (A self indulgent gift, I know!)

Yes, I think it shows that you are being very thoughtful because you are making it personal. I'm buying my girls accessories and paying to have their make-up done and like you I still feel bad for all the money they have to pay to be a part of my day. If budget permits im going to add mini lotion and body spray and lip gloss from bath and body works to their gift bags that will have their accessories in them.
@polkadotbridetobe- the bags are cute and the monogram is really nice, but I wouldn't recommend the hot pink bag. It's not hot pink it's a light pink so i was pretty disappointed in that, but all of the other colors are great!
@TyeJRN- that sounds like a great gift. I'm sure they'll love feeling pampered :) I would!

Wonderful ideas as far as your Bridesmaids spending more, that is what friends and Bridesmaids are for. Your gift to them is not repayment, just a thoughtful thank you and I think your bag and goodies is very thoughtful indeed.

I got my bridesmaids personalized totes from the knot in their favorite color with their names. I'm putting flip flops, a black wristlet, lip gloss, hand sanitizer and mints inside (things they can use they day of) and I'm writing them all a handwritten thank you note. Also, I made them all black bridesmaid shirts with rhinestone iron ons to wear while getting ready. What would you think of this gift if you were a bridesmaid??
