We’re having a small outdoor wedding and the ceremony will be pretty short- about fifteen minutes, probably. We don’t have a bridal party and we’re not having any readings.
I only have about two weeks left before I need to hop on a plane and the idea of trying to make wedding programs overwhelms me. I have so many other things to do.
I mean, I’ll make them if it’s basically required to have them, but is it??? Will guests notice or care if they don’t get a lame program?

Our wedding was the same as yours. Including signing the license, it took 12 minutes! We had no programs and no one saidva thing.

I never think ceremony programs are boring or lame, especially for traditional church services, but since your wedding is short and small, you probably don’t need them.

You definitely don’t need them, especially for a short ceremony. Honestly I’d rather just sit back and watch a ceremony than fumble with a program, unless it was a super long mass with unfamiliar customs, guest participation, or something like that.

i personally like programs, but since yours is so short they aren’t necessary 🙂

I wouldn’t stress. No one will miss them.

LOL!!! I do not like programs… I did nt have them for my wedding. I just went to a wedding this past weekend and my friend had them and at the end they were on the floor. I think that money could be spent else where

We had a super short, intimate ceremony like yours too. We had no BP (just two FG) and the ceremony was basically one reading and one blessing, in addition to the vows, and our officiant performed the entire thing. I did feel obligated to create programs but honestly, I didn’t want to spend the money on printing and paper so I did without. No one even commented or noticed IMO.
