I have been obssessed with these ines di santo gloves since I first laid eyes on them [pictures are from Mrs Penquins post ] So anyway I tried to DIY these but wasnt able to find a sheer fabric that was nice enough and strong enough to hold the beading.. I called up the head office of ines di santo to find out if these are for sale and how much they cost and the lady told me they start from $600! I was hoping they would be around 100 or less.. wishful thinking

I don’t really like them to be honest. They look terribly uncomfortable. Also, I think they would distract from the dress (and the bride!)

They are cute.. but not $600 cute.

I think they’re pretty, but I didn’t even think about spending that kind of money on my gown.

I don’t like them. I agree they would be distracting- youll look beautiful without them!

they are really cool, i like them but $600? no way jose

I also don’t care for them. To be honest, fingerless gloves ALWAYS remind me of the homeless people outside metro stations in the winter. Even when they’re covered in bling. :/
ETA: But if you love them, could you consider DIYing? Maybe buy some cheap, simple, lace wrist-gloves, snip off the fingers, sew up the edges and then add crystals to them?

No! you could probably do an alchemy request on Etsy for wayyy cheaper.

I wouldn’t no way and honestly fingerless gloves especially lace ones remind me of the early 1980’s Madonna when she was in her Material Girl phase.

Absolutely wouldn’t pay that much, but I dont mind the way they look. Maybe something more like this?

noooo way. the second to last picture actually looks like a nice bracelet that is too big and falling off her hand from a distance. i’m all for big blinging awesome bracelets, but not a fan of these gloves.

Goodness..if you were making $1k an hour..then maybe..but for all seriousness..i don’t think they’re cute..I bet they would be in the way for the most part..so no, that is something I would have no regret NOT buying.

I don’t honestly think it “does” anything for the overall look. I’d spend the $600 on other amazing accesories.

I did think about DIY them.. but I dont like lace so its a bit hard finding the right fabric thats sheer/ stretchy and strong enough to hold the beads and crystal.. sigh
