I’d rather not have the body of my dreams.  🙂  Both options sound miserable.

I would literally die without cake.  DIE I SAY.  I don’t mind a good bit of working out, so I would definitely work out versus restrict my diet.

In reality though it’s a balance between the two.  But in your hypothetical situation, if I had to choose, I would eat whatever I want.

I guess out of those I’d pick working out because I like working out.  I don’t really want to do it 7x a week for more than an hour but I could easily be okay with doing 7 hours+ a week.  But I’d have to split it up by things like hiking (3+ hours), running (1-1.5 hrs), or biking (1.5 hours-2 hours) and then take a few days off.  I mean, I’ve done plenty of 8+ hour hikes so I could kill it in one day Smile

Working out helps to keep me sane and have energy.  I’m miserable and lethargic when I can’t work out at least 3-4 days a week.

And there’s no way I could follow that diet…ever.  I love carbs.

    Working out definitely!

I would actually still eat well for the most part…but I wouldn’t have to worry about calories!  Bring on the cheese, guac, cake, and pina coladas.

I picked I would rather work out like a Mad woman, but now that i think about it. I think i would rather be lazy, I would get use to munching on fruit all the time lol.

In my prime I worked out 15+ hrs a week (lifting, agility training & rugby practice) & I would definitely do it again if I had the time. It took up all my evenings so it’s not as realistic as it was during my first undergrad!

Neither? I guess I’d eat healthy and not workout. I struggle to motivate myself 2-3x a week so 7 sounds like my worst nightmare.

I pick be fat and happy and eat cake. I enjoy delicious carbs (which btw our body totally needs in moderation) but work a job where working out for hours a day, everyday isn’t going to happen.

ETA: In HS, I was in marching band and a varsity athlete, so I worked out 4-6 hours a day 6/7 days a week and ate what I wanted, but I am not a high schooler with nothing to do other than go to basketball practice now. I could go back to that if I didnt have to work and clean and all that.

    Work out, absolutely.

I actually like working out and I’m already doing it 5-6 days a week (1-2 of which are well above an hour) so another day or two to eat whatever I wanted. Hell yes, I’m in.

@engleman10513:  I do both! It goes hand in hand to feel good internally/externally. I do eat cheese though 🙂
